Amazon driver robbed at gunpoint in Overbrook
An Amazon driver was robbed at gunpoint on Friday morning in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.It happened at 5:30 a.m. on the 7400 block of Drexel Road.The driver told police he was approached by three masked men with guns who stole all of the packages from his vehicle.The victim says he was working as a freelance delivery driver for Amazon.No arrests have been made.The driver was not hurt.
Woman killed in double shooting after gunfire erupts in Tacony
A woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after a shooting on Friday morning in the Tacony section of Philadelphia.The shooting happened around 11:20 a.m. in the 6700 block of Marsden Street.Police say the woman suffered multiple gunshot wounds to her right arm and back. She was rushed to the hospital but died from her injuries a short time later.Investigators do not yet know the woman's age.A 23-year-old man was shot in the right side of his body and right arm. He is hospitalized in stable condition.No arrests have been made.

NJ State Triathlon to Cause Area Road Closures This Weekend
HAMILTON, NJ - On Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, thousands of athletes and spectators will take over Mercer County Park for the annual New Jersey State Triathlon. Local officials are advising residents to plan for heavier traffic, and parking restrictions along Hughes Drive from Edinburg Road to Quakerbridge Road. Closures will happen on area main roads including Old Trenton Road, Quakerbridge Road, Hughes Road and others beginning at 5:00 a.m. both days for the biking and running portions of the competition.
