Welcome to “Fairadise!”
A new Vinton County Jr. Fair Queen and Court will be crowned Saturday at the Terry Fout Stage.
Who will wear the tiara as the next queen when the pageant starts at 7 p.m?
Folks, you have teen, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade and 7th and 8th grade contestants who have a chance to capture a crown.
Fair runs between Saturday and next Friday.
Worth noting, a portion of the fair’s schedule is published on page A4.
General admission to the fair is $10 with free admission for children four-years-old and under.
Fair opens at 9 a.m. and the rides open at 4 p.m.
Line-up for the fair’s parade starts at 5 p.m. today (Friday) at the old high school with the parade to begin at 6:30 p.m. The parade will start and stop, after a big loop through town, at the old high school.
