Muscatine Fire Departments Red Shift took advantage of the weather and a quiet day at the Station One to train at the Muscatine Fire Academy Wednesday. The Fire Academy is located at Station Two. Battalion Chief Gary Ronzheimer noted that keeping the skills of staff members sharp is a prime directive of the department and using the facility to hone firefighting skills is a bonus.
