I don't understand why anyone would be heartless enough to do this. Statistics are showing that dog thefts in Illinois are skyrocketing and there's no good reason why. If you pay attention to headlines, you've seen a number of these dognapping cases in Illinois including one that was stolen during an armed robbery in Chicago and another dog stolen a few months ago in Joliet. Some thief even stole a dog in Illinois that was being cared for at a foster home from a shelter.

Stop sticks end police chase that began in Davenport
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - What began as a state trooper trying to pull over a vehicle for speeding on Locust Street ended with stop sticks near the Clinton County line. Alisa Sage, 29, of DeWitt, was arrested Friday and charged with eluding at speeds over 25 mph over the limit, and assault on an officer with the use of a weapon after troopers say she hit a squad car during the chase.
Thursday recycling collection not completed, will finish Friday
The City of Muscatine was informed this afternoon that Republic Services was unable to finish the Thursday curbside recycling collection route. Republic has indicated that they will be back in Muscatine Friday morning to complete the Thursday route from Lucas to Fulliam, the south side of Houser, the additions off of Houser, as well as collecting the regular Friday route.

Here Are The Plans For The New $7 Million Sports Complex In Muscatine
Athletes are going to get a new facility in Muscatine. According to WQAD, the Muscatine City Council approved plans on Thursday night for a new sports facility in the area. There aren't any renderings drawn up yet but it is set to be at the Muscatine West Soccer Site, across from the Muscatine Soccer Complex, according to Voice of Muscatine.
