Cruise Night in the Maple City
The 25th Annual Maple City Street Machines Car Cruise will take over the City of Monmouth on Friday. Clifford Adams gives a rundown of the event:. “We will be starting it off at 7 am on the Square setting up the registration table. Actually, before that cars will already be here. After we get the registration table set up with the t-shirts and everything, people can come register. We will be parking cars starting in the 400 Block of South Main Street, work our way north to the Square, and then on North Main Street. We ask people to come to the Square, to the big red tent, and register their vehicle.”

Chicago museums including Shedd Aquarium, Art Institute offering free admission days in August
The calendar has flipped to August and that means several Chicago museums are offering free admission this month for Illinois residents.That includes the Art Institute.
