Overnight car break-ins at downtown hotel leave guests on edge
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police are investigating a string of car break-ins at a downtown Louisville hotel. It happened early Sunday morning. LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said the original report of the break-ins came from the security guard at 4 a.m., but LMPD needed a victim present to take a report. Police returned to the scene around 6 a.m. to take reports.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville nonprofit delivered new educational books to a group in Nashville focused on supporting children impacted by violence. Christopher 2X's Game Changers has devoted resources to supporting children impacted by gun violence with the Future Healers program, which is a partnership between the Game Changers, UofL Hospital's Trauma Institute and students at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. The goal of the program is to help Louisville children who have been impacted by violence in their neighborhoods to build a better future.
