General Hospital: Kristina Strange Behavior and Possible Split Personality After Baby Irene Loss

Something isn't right with Kristina, and the signs are growing more alarming by the day. Her recent actions have left everyone, including her closest loved ones, questioning if she's truly herself.

Kristina's decisions seem far from rational—and far from who she once was.

Personality Split?

Kristina's quick abandonment of Blaze, the love of her life, may have been interpreted as an act of pure love. She told her to go on a tour with Miguel, but their relationship ended.

Blaze could have gone on her tour without Kristina abruptly breaking up with her; they could have spoken remotely; it appeared to be a hurried choice and uncharacteristic of Kristina.

The fact that it was unexpected and a split suggests that Kristina's selflessness and nobleness were not the only factors. It seems she was chopping off her nose to spite her face while also torturing herself.

Viewers recall Kristina's anguish after losing baby Irene, but the night she went to the graveyard with Sonny's revolver, she behaved strangely.

Alexis had worried the night she snatched her vehicle keys and fled, but she eventually returned. When she and Sam inquired where she'd been, she appeared to zone out, and when Sam departed, she behaved more oddly.

She'd taken a pistol from her father's safe, and Alexis found out later--and talked cryptically about it--"one down, one to go" surprised Alexis.

Kristina’s Shocking Shift

Kristina appeared to have taken a mental break following her anguish at the graveyard during the memorial ceremony, where she had crashed.

Could Kristina be on the verge of developing personality fractures and dissociative identity disorder? She appeared to make a rapid shift after losing the baby!

She seemed to be on the verge of a fatal incident, despite Ava dropping her claims of attempting to kill her following John's death.

When she was at the baby's burial the night he was slain, she expressed her desire not to live without her.

She appeared surprisingly calm as she returned to the Davis residence, despite having lost it earlier during the memorial ceremony.

With her psyche broken, could there be two or even more Kristina battling for dominance? That would not be surprising!
