Can Brooke Let Go of Ridge for Taylor's Sake?

Call it women's intuition. Brooke knows something is wrong with Taylor on The Bold and the Beautiful, but she has no idea what it is.

Will she make a tremendous sacrifice for Taylor when she discovers he is dying? In the B&B episode, Brooke continued picking up on Taylor's hints that something was wrong with her.

She eventually asked Ridge about it, but he had not seen anything out of the norm.

Of course, she passed out the next day in the Forrester Creations salon, and she tells Ridge that she is dying of heart failure.

Naturally, he is taken aback, but he won't have time to respond because she has sworn him to secrecy about the entire situation.

Naturally, knowledge of Taylor's health status will spread. Brooke believes the news will simply reinforce her preconceived notions about Taylor.

And this is why we believe Brooke will make a significant sacrifice for Taylor.

Will Brooke Let Him Go for Taylor?

Knowing Taylor would require all of her family's support, we believe Brooke will distance herself from her connection with Ridge in order to give him the time and space he requires to be there for Taylor, Steffy, and Thomas.

Ridge was recently discussing Brooke's past connection with Taylor and how he hoped the two ladies may reestablish it at some time.

The greatest thing Brooke can do now is to support both Taylor and Ridge. Despite their difficult origins, Brooke and Taylor have a bond.

They are both moms and wealthy businesswomen and have a mutual passion for Ridge.

As Taylor confronts an uncertain future, the only way Brooke can show her support is to give Taylor and Ridge the time they need to work through this together.

Of course, although this would be a significant, albeit touching, sacrifice for Brooke, there is a very real risk that it would backfire.
