General Hospital: Trina and Gio Clash Leads to Unexpected Romance in Port Charles

General Hospital reveals that Trina and Giovanni are likely to butt heads again. Will their quarrel put them in a position from which they will be unable to recover?

Rumor has it that this conflict may eventually bring them closer together, which is exactly what fans have been yearning for since Gio and his dimples first appeared on the Port Charles scene.

Trina has struggled to move on after Spencer's death, but it's safe to say she's trying and is willing to find love again if the opportunity arises.

Will Trina’s Defense Lead to Romance?

It's just not probable that she believes it will come from Gio in any shape or form. That will appear even less plausible following this argument.

Trina believes Gio has only been in Port Chuck for a short time.

She doesn't think he has the right to pass rash judgment on her pals, but it looks like Gio is taking it all in and has developed an opinion about Ava that will leave Trina with a terrible taste.

Gio has apparently heard enough.

While Ava is sympathetic to him and pays him to perform his lovely music in her gallery, he's always ready to protect Sonny, which pits him against Trina and Josslyn in certain instances.

Nonetheless, Trina is unlikely to convince Gio that Ava is worth reconsidering.

Trina has been ready to protect Ava in a variety of situations. She's developed an attachment for her over the years.

Trina and Gio’s Battle Over Ava!

Just as Ava provided Gio a temporary boost by displaying his violinist abilities to the elite of Port Chuck, she offered Trina a significant break into the art world for which the young assistant would be eternally grateful.

Trina is still figuring out where life will take her next, beginning with finishing college at PCU.

After that, who knows? But, for the time being, she spends every day by Ava's side.

While she isn't afraid to call her out or keep Ava accountable when necessary, she also wants everyone to know that Ava isn't only the negative things they've heard.

Trina may defend Ava against bogus charges made by people like Gio, who know nothing about the gallerista.

However, it is becoming clear that Trina is not only attempting to persuade everyone else that there is more to Ava than meets the eye — or the rumor.
