Jill is unhappy with Billy after speaking with Lily. Will Jill alter her tune once she knows the entire truth?

Like many other fans of The Young and the Restless, we've been eager to see Jill's reaction to Billy's recent actions at the new Abbott-Chancellor.

So, on the October 14 episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily calls Jill for a video chat, and we see Jill's first reaction.

Will Lily Clean Up Billy’s Corporate Chaos?

Lily begins by apologizing for troubling Jill as she heals from her new health issues, but Jill insists Lily is no problem.

Jill also says she is feeling much better. Lily explains the reason for her call after receiving this news. Abbott-Chancellor.

Jill acknowledges that she is frightened by Billy's recent major decisions while in charge of the firm.

For starters, she can't get accustomed to the moniker Abbott-Chancellor, which was formerly known as Chancellor, despite supposedly agreeing to the name change.

Jill also can't believe Chance departed, preferring to cope with perilous police investigations over corporate feuding.

Jill also confesses that she is aware of Billy's termination of Lily and expresses her deep regret that her son made such a dumb mistake.

Jill apologizes to Lily and says she was hoping Billy would see sense by now and urges Lily to return.

Lily appreciates the apologies but is perplexed that Jill is aware she was fired until Jill reveals Chance told her everything.

Will Jill Be the Boss Again or Let Lily Handle Billy’s Latest Stunts?

Since Jill appears to be on Lily's side in this whole situation, Lily expresses her concern about Billy's vision for the firm.

She notices Billy hired Phyllis, which is a big surprise to Jill and something she is not pleased about.

Furthermore, Jill is upset to learn that Lily believes Billy is not taking the imminent Victor danger seriously.

By the conclusion of their talk, Jill swears to make amends to Lily and believes that she is the only one capable of controlling her out-of-control kid.

Lily needs to be confident about her prospects of getting reinstated at Abbott-Chancellor, but should she?

We couldn't help but notice that Lily left two important points out of her talk with Jill.

First, Lily forgot to explain that she was unhappy with Jill for delegating her authority as Abbott-Chancellor to Billy, and Lily intended to kick Billy out of the firm as a result.

Jill had hoped Lily and Billy would work well together, but Lily had no intention of allowing that to happen in the long run.
