According to The Young and the Restless (Y&R), Sharon's plotline has devolved into a disaster.

Fans may have believed Daniel was in danger, but a conflict between Sharon and Heather led to Heather's death, and Sharon is presently rushing to take all eyes off her.

Still, what does this signify for the Shick reunion? According to Y&R, Shick fans are always pushing for Nick and Sharon to reconnect.

Can Nick Handle Sharon’s Dark Side After Heather’s Shocking Demise?

The high school sweethearts usually seem to find their way back together, but Sharon has dug much too deep a hole for that to happen.

Sharon is clearly still in love with Nick.

Her absence of bipolar medication reveals the intense feelings she feels for her ex; nevertheless, it also skews her judgment.

Unfortunately, the conclusion of this plot appears to merely deepen the distance in any potential relationship between Shick for the time being.

Y&R hints that the truth behind Heather's death will be revealed.

Sharon blacked out during Heather's death, so there's a high probability she didn't murder her, but that doesn't mean she gets off easy.

After all, she feared she had killed Heather after seeing her motionless body in a pool of blood.

Sharon not only cleaned up the crime scene, but she also tossed Heather off a bridge into a river.

On top of that, she grabbed her phone, unlocked it with Heather's body as a facial ID, and engaged in manipulative mind games with Daniel and Heather's father, Paul.

She even pretended to be a stranger who had Heather's phone and wanted to give it back.

Sharon’s Got 99 Problems, But Is Nick One?

Nick adores Sharon, yet her behaviors may repulse him.

It will be difficult for him to forgive her behavior once he learns what she did, which he will inevitably discover.

Especially because she chose not to take her bipolar medication or seek assistance.

He, Faith, and Mariah tried so hard to keep her from harming herself or others. Sharon's decision not to seek therapy or take her medications was selfish on many levels.

Even if Sharon is not sentenced to prison for her crimes, she will spend time in a mental health hospital and is likely to be committed.

She'll need a lot of time to heal and recover, and Nick will simply be there as a friend.

As upsetting as it is, Shick supporters wishing for a long-awaited reunion between these two will have to wait much longer for anything like this to happen.
