Frank Hruska is both the dedicated Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads (SHR) and a huge fan of Ynot Italian Restaurant, specifically its Providence Road location in Virginia Beach.

For 13 years, he and his wife Diane enjoyed hundreds of lunches and dinners there, accumulating 50,000 points in Ynot’s rewards program. In fact, he accumulated so many points that he actually earned a six-day and five-night round-trip vacation to Italy for two. Rather than take the trip himself, he decided it was a fantastic opportunity to support a cause he loves. Working with his friends at Ynot, he opted to r affle off the trip and donate all the funds to our area Habitat for Humanity SHR.

On May 1, anyone can purchase a $20 ticket to win airfare, accommodations for two, a one-day Italian food tour, and $500 of spending money, making this a trip of a lifetime to Naples, Italy. Travel arrangements will be made in coordination with a Ynot Italian designated travel agency. “You can buy a ticket online at shrhabitat.org ,” says Habitat SHR Director of Development & Communications Kathleen Petersen. “But we’re only selling 2,000 of them, so don’t wait.”

The winner’s name will be drawn on June 12th at 6:00 pm during Ynot Wednesday on the steps of the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach. “You don’t have to be present to win,” says Kathleen, “but come out and enjoy the band Brasswind and have some Ynot pizza. And, you can thank Frank personally for all the meals he ate because he is helping a cause so dear to him and allowing someone else to take advantage of all the points he generated.”
