I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gopchang Story KBBQ in Annandale, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! I ordered the assorted intestine gui and it was incredibly tasty. The spicy cold noodles were also a hit, adding a kick to the meal. One of my friends tried the beef large intestine, but found it a bit fishy, so it might not be for everyone.
This place is a haven for those who love intestines in different forms. Whether grilled, in a spicy stew, or in fried rice, they do it all and they do it well. Even the dishes without intestines are well made and tasty. The all assorted intestines gui and the banchans were delicious. I'm already planning to come back for the marinated option and fried rice.
What sets Gopchang Story apart is not just the food, but also the service. They use real fire for grilling which adds to the authenticity of the experience. Even the side dishes are delicious. The chadol soup and the fried rice at the end were also good. The Annandale location is really nice because it's not super crowded. I've been to this place a few times and it never disappoints. Here's hoping they open a branch on the west coast soon, because I already miss them!
