If you're on the hunt for a culinary adventure with an Asian twist, Main St. Dragon is a spot you'll want to check out. I recently had the pleasure of diving into their Malaysian-flavored ramen and let me tell you, it was a unique taste sensation! The ramen's distinct flavors left a memorable impression on my palate.
The restaurant offers a wide array of Asian dishes that are sure to cater to various tastes. While the Takoyaki might be an acquired taste due to its squid content, there are plenty of other options that shine. The Boom Boom Shrimp was a standout for me, with its delicious flavor, and the Sechuan Rice Noodle Soup was a comforting delight. Although some dishes like the Pad Thai and Thai Mussels could use a bit more punch to bring out their authentic flavors, the overall menu is quite exciting and the presentation is on point.
Despite a bit of a wait for the food to arrive, which is a testament to the restaurant's popularity, the experience was worth it. The KFC Fried Chicken and Sambal Squid were particularly noteworthy, with the squid being exceptionally fresh and flavorful. While some dishes may lean towards the sweeter side, catering to a less spicy preference, the Curry Chicken Noodle Soup and Tom Yum Chicken Noodle were both rich in taste and spice, offering a satisfying kick. Main St. Dragon is a place I'd recommend for those looking to explore a variety of Asian-inspired dishes in a friendly and vibrant setting.
