1. Bookbinder's Seafood & Steakhouse
Recently, I had the chance to dine at Bookbinder's Seafood & Steakhouse, and the experience was a mix of highs and lows. The signature turtle and beef soup was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by warm, buttery biscuits. The filet mignon was a standout, tender and cooked to a perfect medium-rare, making it one of the tastiest steaks around. However, not all dishes hit the mark. The cowboy ribeye had an unexpected acrid taste, and the baked potato, which was more boiled than baked, was a letdown. The atmosphere inside is classy and the staff generally friendly, adding to the upscale vibe of the place. While some visits have been fantastic, celebrating special occasions with great food and service, others have felt disappointing, particularly when expectations set by the restaurant's reputation weren't met.
