Stumbling upon Surf Rider Restaurant was a delightful surprise during a recent stay nearby. The place boasts a 'Daily Fresh' menu featuring seafood caught the same day, which you can have cooked in various styles. The freshness of the dishes is remarkable, truly capturing the essence of the sea without any overpowering fishiness. I had the pleasure of trying the crab dip and tuna bites, which were absolutely phenomenal, possibly the best I've ever tasted. The broiled seafood platter and the flounder with crab cake sandwich were also major hits, bursting with flavor. Each dish is served with two sides, chosen from a daily selection, ensuring something new to try with each visit. The ambiance, enhanced by a soothing marina view, makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. Although the service was a bit slow, the quality and taste of the food more than made up for it. The only hiccup was a minor disappointment when we were told we couldn't substitute sides, but it was a small issue in an otherwise fantastic dining experience.
