If you find yourself in Virginia Beach with a craving for some authentic Chinese cuisine, 'Noodle Man' is a must-visit spot that I recently had the pleasure of dining at. This cozy restaurant may be small, but it packs a punch with its friendly staff and an open kitchen where you can watch the magic happen as they hand-make their noodles. The entire menu is fresh and flavorful, from the beef pancake appetizer to the hot & spicy noodle soup, which is a delight with its rich spice and depth of flavor.
The standout for me was the Mongolian Beef Stir Fried Noodles, which were absolutely delicious and something I'd definitely come back for. While most of the dishes hit the mark, the Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup could use a bit more flavor, but it was still enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming, and despite its popularity, seating wasn’t an issue. They could, however, improve the cleanliness of the bathrooms and some areas of the restaurant to enhance the overall experience.
Overall, 'Noodle Man' offers a great dining experience with its combination of tasty food, the charm of watching noodles being made right before your eyes, and good service. It’s a spot that’s worth checking out, whether you’re in the mood for something spicy or a comforting bowl of noodle soup on a chilly day.
