If you're craving Taiwanese flavors with a twist, Pier 88 might just be your next go-to spot. The restaurant offers a delightful array of dishes, with the braised pork rice and crispy salted chicken standing out as particularly scrumptious. During my visit, I indulged in hush puppies and a seafood boil bag, both bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is lively, enhanced by soulful R&B tunes that make it a great choice for a casual date or a relaxed outing with friends.

Service can be hit or miss, especially on busy days. While the staff generally tries to be accommodating, there were moments when the wait for service stretched a bit longer than desired. However, the food's quick arrival once ordered somewhat makes up for the wait. Despite a small hiccup with an order of chicken wings, the overall experience was enjoyable, especially with the music and the vibrant energy of the place. Pier 88 offers a taste of the best seafood in the area, making it a spot worth checking out for anyone looking to enjoy good food in a great atmosphere.

I have been there a couple times and not impressed. Music is always too loud and it's terrible. I dont know who they are playing the music for, but definitely need to change the station. Food is so-so.
