Knights of Columbus can have their Memorial Day Service

Wavy News reveals that The Knights of Columbus Petersburg Council 649 were granted a permit to host their annual Memorial Day service after being denied in 2023.

The Biden administration implemented a policy in 2022 that was interpreted as categorizing religious services as prohibited demonstrations. The KOC filed a lawsuit against the National Park Service because it desired to have its 2024 service.

Attorney General Jason Miyares gave an amicus brief (neutral statement) supporting the Knights of Columbus. This led to an agreement between the Catholic organization and the Park Service, and the lawsuit was dismissed.

It's still unconstitutional for the National Park Service to have that policy. We need a case to go to the Supreme Court to put a stop to that nonsense.

the Knights of Columbus should follow through and force a supreme Court decision as a example to other Federal, state, and local governments from overstepping their authority in such matters.
