Virginia Days of Our Lives fans, you know that Melissa Reeves will return in November for the memorial service for Doug Williams ( Bill Hayes). Missy lives in the Midwest with her family, and it's inconvenient for her to tape episodes in LA.

Doug's wife, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), is Jennifer's cousin because Julie's mom, Addie Williams (Patricia Huston), and Jennifer's mom, Laura Horton ( Susan Flannery), were sisters-in-law. Jen's dad, Bill Horton ( Ed Malory), and Addie were brother and sister. Julie and Jennifer shared Tom and Alice Horton (MacDonald Carey and Francis Reid) as grandparents.
