IDMB News reveals that soap fans already have hopes for Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall), who was recently let go from General Hospital. Followers of the actress, including those in Virginia, recall that she had chemistry with Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake).

Fans are saying they want Y&R to hire McCall as a new love interest for Patrick's character, Billy Abbott. Gayle S from Southwest Virginia said she thinks it's a good idea because Billy needs a new love interest. Meanwhile, Forbes reports that some who watch General Hospital are petitioning the soap to hire Kelly back.
