Road rage victim wrecks her own vehicle

Road rage continues to be a problem in Virginia. The Roanoke Times reports that an aggressive driver in the state was a victim of her road rage. In mid-August, Louisa County District Court charged 36-year-old Kristina Marie Mitchell with the single-vehicle accident.

Mitchell has at least a dozen vehicular infractions since 2017 including three for speeding, two for driving on a revoked or suspended license and one for rear-ending a vehicle driven by fellow Louisa resident Calvin T. McGhee.

Mitchell admitted getting angry and tailgating the driver of a black hatchback back in the left lane when he would not allow her to pass. Daily Progress reveals another driver caught the incident on tape.

Amy Faulconer Lamb, a 53-year-old dog trainer, said she felt like something terrible would happen, so she filmed the entire situation. Faulconer added that Mitchell never applied brakes and appeared to give her vehicle more gas. Her car crashed, but she only had minor injuries.
