Interesting Facts, recently reported that Alfred Hitchcock, the Master of Suspense, dealt with Ovaphobia, the fear of eggs. Many phobias are dealt with on an individual basis, while some fears are common in the US within each State.

WFXR TV, reveals the top phobia in Virginia is Atychiphobia, the fear of failure. According to The Cleveland Clinic, Atychipbia is an intense fear of failure that may cause you to put off or avoid any activity or scenario with the potential for an unsuccessful outcome.

Virginians fear snakes

If you don't find any snake charmers in the Commonwealth, there is a very good reason. Wavy News 10 reported in 2021 that, based on Google searches, the top phobia of Virginians is ophidiophobia, the fear of snakes.

Residents in the Commonwealth ( some, not all) don't want to fail, and neither do they desire to run into what the Bible calls cursed reptiles.cursed reptiles.
