Virginians are concerned about Dr. Bridget Hilliard

The Christian Post has addressed the issue of Dr. Bridget Hillard's mental health. The co-pastor of New Light Church indicated she was moving to Florida after sharing a photo online where she had a knot on her head.

She says she is feeling better after getting prescription drugs out of her system, but what happened to her is not very clear. Several local churches were at one time connected to New Light, so some Virginians are invested in this situation.

They are discussing Bridget Hilliard's plight and Bishop Hilliard's response. Don't try to trust the tabloid or online stuff for your information. That's just speculation. It would help if you trusted the proven voices you've heard.

    IV Hilliards's responses bring questions

Joan E. from Roanoke says it sounds like Hilliard wants to control the narrative and prevent people from deciding for themselves. Bob E. from Botetourt County addressed another one of the bishop's statements.

"I want to say, don't let the devil make you think you got to take sides. … You don't have to take sides. There's no side to take because you don't have enough information." Bob said this is a Word of Faith tactic to keep people from asking questions.

Josh P. from Southside Virginia says the public is concerned about Bridget Hilliard's mental wellbeing and wonders if there may have been domestic abuse. He added that IV Hilliard deflects and is basically saying to stay out of his business, which is problematic because his wife made their private world public.
