Kolchak fans can enjoy a double dose

Virginia MeTV fans, the oldies network will air the 1972 Night Stalker movie on Svenghoooie at 8:00 p.m. Saturday. The film first aired in January of that year on ABC as The Movie of the Week and led to The Night Stalker television series, both starring Darrin McGaven, who is known for A Christmas Story.

McGavin portrays Carl Kolchak, who battles vampires, demons, werewolves, and other legendary or supernatural creators. Unfortunately, no one believes him, and if he takes pictures, they don't develop, or his camera or film is destroyed.

If you miss The Night Stalker film, Svenghoolie will no doubt re-air it sometime in the future. You can also catch an episode of Kolchak:The Night Stalker television series at midnight after Star Trek.
