Although the world decries the crimes R Kelly and Sean Combs have been accused of, both men have experienced an upswing in their music online. CBS reports that increases in streaming numbers following the controversy are not uncommon.

On social media, Virginians have said Diddy's courtroom images seem to look more like Kelly's, and they have expressed varying opinions regarding the music. Some said they never cared for either R Kelly or Diddy's music.

Others said they would no longer listen, and a few said they separate the songs they enjoy from the artist's legal drama. R&B Only reports that if either Sean Combs or R Kelly's music is played in a public venue, at least one person in the audience may be traumatized, so DJs should read the room.
