Real Andrews says goodbye to General Hospital and announces an exciting new role

Réal Andrews's time in Port Charles is over

Virginia General Hospital fans have wondered if Réal Andrews will return as Marcus Taggert. Soaps in Depth reports the actor has announced that his time on the ABC soap is over, but he has an exciting new role.

Andrews said he signed an NDA (Nondisclosure agreement) and cannot give details now. He did say he would be working for the "most excellent network_ and SOD suggests that he might be a part of a new CBS soap opera Beyond the Gates.

Could Andrews be a part of Beyond the Gates?

Soap alums Karla Mosley (The Bold and the Beautiful), Tamera Tunie (As the World Turns), and Daphne Duplaix (One Life to Live) have announced they will appear in the new daytime drama.
