Community Wellness Event: Free Pet Vaccinations & Services This Saturday!

Attention all pet owners and community members! The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is hosting a special event that promises to be both fun and beneficial for your furry friends and the community. Mark your calendars for the "Pets & People Community Wellness Event" this Saturday, May 18, from 10am to 12pm at the Ruby Tucker Family Center, located at 322 Tancil Ct in Alexandria, VA.

This event is not just about pampering your pets; it's also about their health and well-being. Attendees will have access to free vaccinations for cats and dogs, protecting them against rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. But that's not all; your pets can also receive microchipping, dewormer, preventatives, basic exams, nail trims, and various pet supplies – all at no cost.

The generosity doesn't end with services for pets. Humans will also find a range of services and goods available for them, making this a true community wellness affair.

A reminder to dog owners: if you're interested in a 3-year rabies vaccination for your pooch or a 3-year distemper vaccine for your dog or cat, please bring along a copy of your vet records or current rabies certificate.
