    Protein Bark: Satisfy Cravings with Healthy Sweetness

    I have a sweet tooth. Most the time I have to have something sweet after I eat my supper. And I try to stay away from Candy but at times it's really hard so I have started making protein bark. It helps with my cravings of sweets plus I feel like I'm getting protein. There are so many ways to Top this bark, you will have endless variations for any sweet tooth person. Also, if you're looking for a low carb weigh of caving into your sweet tooth. This recipe only needs three items to make the base. Then it's up to you what you want to put on top. I normally double or triple this recipe. You can keep fresh in an airtight container. You can also use Ziploc bags and keep a small amount in bags for a quick easy way to get your protein bark.

    Ingredient:

    1 1/2 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt

    1 teaspoon of vanilla

    2 scoops of protein powder

    There are so many toppings that you can use. The toppings that I use today was assortment of nuts, raisins, and Chia seeds. I also used vanilla protein, but if you're more of a chocolate person or strawberry person, you can also use that. If you wanna buy flavored Greek yogurt, that's another option..

    Ideas for your protein bark topping.

    I have used many different types of granola such as oats and honey birthday cake, granola, and Key lime. The key lime is excellent with the vanilla Greek yogurt and vanilla protein powder.

    You also can use chocolate chips or white chocolate chips on your Greek yogurt. You can also use dried fruit, M&Ms and pretzel mix. If you like peanut butter, you can drizzle peanut butter on top also.

    I also have sprinkled caramel corn, popcorn seasoning on top.


    If you put pretzel mix on top, you can drizzle caramel sauce on top, which is very delicious also. You can also melt some nut butter or chocolate in the microwave and drizzle it over the topping with a spoon. It won't add too many calories.

    If you have cookies and cream protein powder, vanilla Greek yogurt goes excellent with that.

    Ready to make?

    Mix your Greek yogurt, two scoops of protein powder and your vanilla altogether until it is smooth. you can either mix it by hand or mix it with a hand blender. But it's easy to do by hand.

    Now get your cookie sheet or small casserole dish and line it with parchment paper or wax paper. Now you will want to place your yogurt on top of the paper and smooth it out slightly.

    Now you will want to top it with whatever toppings you think you will enjoy.😋

    Now you will have to freeze it for a few hours, but it's worth the wait. Once it's frozen, just crack it into different size pieces.
