    Greek Fest Express

    It’s that time of year again for the Norfolk Greek Festival. Order online and cruise through the express drive-thru. The menu consists of items such as pastitsio (Greek version of lasagna), gyro and baklava.

    Celebrate Chesapeake

    Get ready to have some fun at the Chesapeake Jubilee. This family-friendly event will have entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, and rides. Of course, there will be food, including the Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake’s Shrimp Fest tomorrow. Don’t forget the fireworks at 9 p.m. on Saturday.

    A Root Awakening

    Head to the North Carolina Potato Festival this weekend to celebrate the starchy root vegetable. The fest will have food vendors, games, rides, a beer and wine garden and more. The event also features 2,000 pounds of free French fries on Saturday while supplies last.

    Celebrate The Pelican State

    You don’t have to travel South to get a taste of Louisiana. Spend the weekend at the Bayou Bon Vivant Cajun Music, Food & Art Festival. It will have foods such as crawfish, jambalaya and beignets. Laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll).
