WILLIAMSBURG — A traffic crash in Williamsburg Saturday afternoon injured one pedestrian.

A city spokesperson said Williamsburg Fire and Police, aided by York County Fire and Life Safety, responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Armistead Avenue near Prince George Street. About 3:23 p.m., a red Toyota Tacoma was travelling east on Prince George Street and turned left on Armistead Avenue when it struck a 55-year-old woman.

The woman was taken to Riverside Regional Medical Center and was in critical condition.

Williamsburg police did not release any other details, but neither alcohol nor speed appear to be factors , according to a news release.
