757Teamz football Top 15: Midseason arrives with 10 teams sporting unblemished records

Ten teams have reached midseason unbeaten, and most of them are no surprise, including perennial postseason contenders Maury, Phoebus, Oscar Smith, Green Run, King’s Fork, Warwick and Lafayette.

The other unbeatens are more surprising: Poquoson, Granby and Bruton.

Bruton is the only one of the 10 that has yet to reach the 757Teamz Top 15, but the Panthers can gain some respect with a victory this week against Bay Rivers District rival Tabb.

No unbeaten teams face off this week, but along with Tabb-Bruton, there are some key district matchups, including Oscar Smith at Indian River in the Southeastern District.

The Beach District’s games this week are on Thursday.
