    Fun to Do: Suffolk Peanut Festival, Monster Jam, ‘Cinderella,’ and more

    Looking for something to do during the next week? Here are just a few happenings in Hampton Roads.

    The 46th annual Suffolk Peanut Festival returns this weekend. 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Suffolk Executive Airport, 1410 Airport Road. $10; free for ages 12 and under.     Monster Jam will feature three days of 12,000-pound trucks. 7 p.m. Friday, 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday at Hampton Coliseum, 1000 Coliseum Drive. Tickets start at $18. Pit-Party ticket options available. To buy online, visit ticketmaster.com .

    The Hurrah Players present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.” 7 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Roper Performing Arts Center, 340 Granby St., Norfolk; and 2 p.m. Oct. 19 at Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, 110 Finney Ave. Tickets start at $30.     Virginia Choral Society presents “The Silver Screen.” Saturday at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 45 Main St., Newport News, and Sunday at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Road, Williamsburg.
