VISALIA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Despite a recent break from 100-degree weather, firefighters are still tackling grass fires.

The Visalia Fire Department says around 4 p.m. they responded to McAuliff Street and Mill Creek Drive for a reported grass fire.

Photos from crews on the scene reveal a fire burning as it is being continuously fed by the dry grass encompassing the field.
