The Times-Delta/Advance-Register will recognize Tulare County's top high school sports performers on a weekly basis this school year.

Coaches, please submit your results/top performers after each game, match or meet to sports reporter Vongni Yang at vyang2@gannett.com to have players highlighted.

Aug. 28

Volleyball

• Karolyne Moran, Golden West: Moran fired 15 kills and five aces to lead the Trailblazers to a 17-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-15 win over Tulare Western.
• Riley Hendrix, Golden West: Hendrix delivered six aces, 12 assists and four kills.
• Kimora Berry, Golden West: Berry scattered eight kills.
• Sidney Yanez, Golden West: Yanez had 28 received balls and seven digs.
• Marissa Luna, Golden West : Luna distributed six aces and five assists.
• Ava Yocum, Mt. Whitney: Yocum led the Pioneers with seven kills in a 16-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-19 win against Farmersville.
• Jillian Morris, Mt. Whitney: Morris smacked seven kills.
• Emily Qualls, Mt. Whitney: Qualls added six kills.
• Kaylee Castillo, Mt. Whitney: Castillo had four kills and a block.

Volleyball

• Katelynn May, Redwood: May, a sophomore, delivered 20 kills, two blocks and three digs to anchor the Rangers to 18-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-10 win over Sanger.
• Andee May, Redwood: May added two kills, eight blocks and a dig.
• Payton Short, Redwood: Short had three kills, an ace, a block, 19 digs and 20 assists.
• Lana Alipaz, Redwood: Alipaz generated 10 kills, two blocks and five digs.
• Grace Alipaz, Redwood: Alipaz registered eight kills, two aces, four blocks and seven digs.
• Angelina Miranda, Redwood: Miranda finished with two aces, 12 digs and six assists.
• Bailey Krauss, Redwood: Krauss recorded four digs and 12 assists.
• Journey Vela, Redwood: Vela chipped in an ace and nine digs.
• Aubri Diaz, Redwood: Diaz had an ace and eight digs.
• Avery Bratsch, Redwood: Bratsch contributed four digs and three assists.
• Zoe Alvarado, Redwood: Alvarado had four digs.
• Amelia Armenta, Redwood: Armenta added a block.
