SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - It was hot and humid once again around the ArkLaTex and temperatures are expected to continue to rise through midweek. A Heat Advisory will be reissued from 11am to 8pm tomorrow. This means temperatures will be in the 90′s across the region and feels like temperatures could reach 105 in some spots. Tuesday will remain dry, but rain chances rise on Wednesday when a cold front will make its way through the region.

TEXARKANA, Texas – A Texarkana woman was arrested on Monday by the Texas Department of Public Safety on a charge of impersonating a private investigator. Bessie Williams allegedly accessed a student’s high school records in May by posing as a federal investigator and telling administrators the student’s mother hired her following an altercation at the school.

SHREVEPORT, La. – Shreveport police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting Monday night in the Werner Park neighborhood that claimed a man's life. The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office identified the victim as Brion Morris, 21. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he died.
