It was dangerous of you as a journalist to say you went cold turkey like that's a badge of honor. It's extremely dangerous to stop benzos abruptly. You need to taper slowly under doctors guidance. I had a seizure this spring because I was traveling out of state and unable to fill my script. I thought just like you I could white knuckle it and ended up at hospital.

quality there are worse or just as bad meds out there I've known people on it 30 plus years no problems yes withdrawal can be awful but look at the withdrawal and taper of highly recommended psychotropic antidepressants or other meds horrible
