The Best-Dressed Stars at Vogue World 2024 in Paris
Last night the Vogue World 2024 event in Paris, held in the famed Place Vendôme, brought out a stylish crowd of celebrities in the front row. From their VIP seats, stylish A-listers took in a one-of-a-kind show that paired various sports—including cycling, gymnastics, tennis, and fencing—with a decade in French fashion, going back to the 1920s. An emphasis was placed on French designers, both contemporary and historic, and there were even a few surprise performances too.
Alexa Chung Brings a Love Letter From the Past to Vogue World 2024
Leave it to Alexa Chung to bring the cool Britishness of Jane Birkin and the French insouciance of Françoise Hardy (her two style muses) to Vogue World: Paris. This is, after all, the woman who wore an entirely feathered Nicklas Skovgaard shorts set and bonnet to the London edition at Theatre Royal Drury Lane last year. Vogue World demands a look!
A View From Inside Vogue World 2024
Tonight, luminaries from the worlds of fashion, sport, and the arts descended on Paris’s Place Vendôme to celebrate Vogue World: Paris—a dazzling showcase of the past, present, and future of French fashion, with performances by the likes of Aya Nakamura and Bad Bunny. Just as thrilling as those runway appearances—Gigi! Kendall! Paloma! Anok!—was all the behind-the-scenes commotion to bring the spectacle to life. And luckily, Vogue had a team of photographers—including German Larkin, Morgan O’Donovan, Corey Tenold, and Acielle—on the ground to capture all of the action. Take an exclusive look inside the Vogue World 2024 event in Paris here.

Cara Delevingne Brought the Conical Bra Revival to Paris at Vogue World 2024
It was in 1990 that Madonna emerged onto the stage at the dawn of her Blond Ambition tour, shrugging off a sharply tailored pinstripe jacket to reveal a pink satin corset with exaggerated conical cups underneath. It was the show—and the garment—that saw her go stratospheric: no longer merely a chart-topping artist but a pop-culture icon—one who is still synonymous with that pointy Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra 34 years on.
The History Behind Vogue World 2024’s Blue Carpet
When celebrities from Eva Longoria to Cara Delevingne made their glamorous arrivals at Vogue World 2024 in Paris, they walked down a blue—not red—carpet. It was a color choice made with the utmost intent: royal blue has long been associated with both Paris and the Place Vendôme itself. In 1898, César and Marie-Louise Ritz began decorating their soon-to-open hotel, the Ritz Paris, at 15 Place Vendôme. They heard a story that King Louis XV, who ruled France from 1715 until 1774, used to play there. His favorite thing to do? Stand on the balcony and watch the soldiers in their royal blue uniforms parade through the square.

Last we heard of Matthew M. Williams, back in December, the American designer had just announced his departure from Givenchy following the thought-provoking (if less headline-making) news that he had secured an investment deal for his Alyx label with Adrian Cheng, the Hong Kong–based entrepreneur. This week, quietly and intimately hosting previews in his Paris apartment, Williams revealed exactly what the new Alyx will look like moving forward.

It’s no secret that the global superstar, athlete, and fashion icon has many memorable looks and memorabilia. 25 Looks That Prove Bad Bunny Is Always In Fashion
This just in: Bad Bunny will be making an appearance at Vogue World 2024 in Paris!. Bad Bunny has established himself a singular artist when it comes to his style choices—both onstage and in the street. The 30-year-old Puerto Rican musician has no qualms about playing with gender rules, and his wardrobe includes many pieces that blur the boundaries between feminine and masculine. His appearance at the Met Gala in 2023 alongside Simon Porte Jacquemus was unforgettable: he walked the red carpet in a tweed, open back suit, paired with a spectacular, long floral train. A long custom necklace with the initial “J” accented his exposed back.
Spa Water, Rebranded: Welcome to the World of “Sexy Water”
We recently named the 100 best spas in the world, which meant a lot of glamorous things became part of our weekly routine, including drinking a lot of fancy, fruit-infused water. Jokingly (but also colloquially) referred to as “spa water,” infused H20 has been recently reborn as “sexy water” on...

Last night, Paris enjoyed its Fete de la Musique, an annual music celebration when Parisians take to the streets, make music and dance. Music streamed out from nearly every cafe and bar, but one party in particular was a little bit louder than the rest: OTW by Vans’s celebration.
A Reminder That Joni Mitchell’s Blue is the Ultimate Summer Travel Album
A couple of weeks ago, I booked a summer trip to Mallorca and Menorca, two of the four main Balearic islands in Spain. Since then, I have done approximately zero things to prepare for my travels except listen to Joni Mitchell’s legendary 1971 album Blue over and over again, specifically the fitting lyrics from her song “California”: “So I bought me a ticket, I caught a plane to Spain, went to a party down a red dirt road / there were lots of pretty people there, reading Rolling Stone, reading Vogue.”
I’ve Been to Glastonbury 18 Times. Here’s Absolutely Everything You Need to Know for the Best Festival Experience
Every year, the end of June means one thing for me: Glastonbury. This month, I’ll be heading to Worthy Farm for a 19th time, and I’m as excited as I was for that first visit in 2000, when I arrived on the Wednesday morning as a bewildered, bucket hat-clad student with a borrowed tent and charity-shop clothes. More than two decades have passed since then, and every Glastonbury in between has been filled with equally weird and wonderful experiences: trudging through mud in 2005 to mingle with Kate Moss and Pete Doherty in a press catering tent; taking 2 a.m. selfies with Jarvis Cocker in the Green Fields in 2013; getting into the festival on Kanye West’s guest list in 2015, only to swerve his headline show to watch Suede instead, then spending the next day trying to glimpse the Dalai Lama, who had turned up on site.

Certain members of the London-based Vogue team have been known to describe the Eurostar terminal in St Pancras as a second home, so frequently do they zip across the Channel for ready-to-wear and couture shows, and—now—to take in the spectacle of Vogue World: Paris in Place Vendôme as well. Below, they share their train travel tips.

Robert Pattinson Brought “Hard Elegance” to the Dior Show

Yesterday in Paris, Dior designer Kim Jones unveiled his spring 2025 menswear collection, and new father Robert Pattinson—who welcomed his first child, a baby girl, with Suki Waterhouse back in March—made an appearance in the front row, among other celebrities such as Demi Moore and Maluma. “It’s always such an honor to experience Kim’s shows,” Pattinson tells Vogue. “They always feel so immersive, playful, inventive. You can really feel how much he enjoys synthesizing his influences into beautiful craftsmanship.”
What Did the Olympic Games Look Like in 1924? 30 Snapshots From Paris 1924
The 1924 Olympic Games, held in Paris from May 4 to July 27, were teeming with firsts. These Olympics marked the first time any city had hosted the Games twice (the original Paris Games were held in 1900); the first time the modern Olympic motto “Citius, Altius, Fortius” (Swifter, Higher, Stronger) was used; the first time athletes had an Olympic Village to stay in (their options had been hotels, schools, or barracks before that); and the first time the Olympics included an art competition, in which architects, writers, musicians, painters, and sculptors could win medals for their sports-themed creations (this was discontinued after 1948).
