Silk Laundry Celebrates the Opening of Their First US Store in Los Angeles
A warm Wednesday night at Chateau Marmont’s Bungalow Four provided the setting for It girl brand Silk Laundry’s party to celebrate their first U.S. store. Founder and creative director Katie Kolodinski had flown into town to toast the opening of the Melrose Avenue boutique and was joined by Tallulah Willis, Kilo Kish, Juliette Labelle, Ganna Bogdan, Kat Typaldos, and Agnes Azria, among others. As guests lounged around the garden and danced to a playlist by musical artist Zsela, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were passed around and Silk Laundry outfits were compared and complimented.
Can Using an Acupressure Mat Soothe Pain and Stress?
At first glance, it seems like nothing could be more uncomfortable than an acupressure mat. With its hundreds of small dull spikes, it looks like something out of science fiction. Or, worse, a medieval torture device. But fans of acupressure mats say that using one can actually be quite relaxing—and recent data suggests that they might even help relieve stress and chronic pain.
Tina Knowles, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and More Join Elaine Welteroth in Celebrating The Launch Of birthFUND
Save for major awards events, few gatherings boast an attendee list including the likes of Tina Knowles, Kris Jenner, and Khloe Kardashian, for starters, but if any host can summon out among Los Angeles’ busiest residents, it’s Elaine Welteroth. Then, if any cause is worth ditching business meetings and photo shoots for, it was the inaugural celebration of Welteroth’s latest venture, birthFUND, a non-profit coalition that aims to combat surging maternal mortality rates in the U.S. by covering midwifery care fees for growing families unable to front the cost themselves.

In a sports car speed is key, but when working on a new project, patience and awareness are essential if one wants to achieve credibility. Today Ferrari showed its first resort collection: it has been three years since the brand began competing in the luxury clothing space. “I am very proud of our work” said creative director Rocco Iannone. “Creating fashion means engaging with a complex industrial system, and you cannot expect to integrate it into a reality like Ferrari’s overnight: it requires time, expertise, seriousness, respect and lessons learned. This collection is not a show in the broadest sense of the term, but the synthesis of a dialogue with our customers over seven seasons.”
The Best Moments From the 2024 Tony Awards
The 77th Annual Tony Awards weren’t short on noteworthy moments, nor did they skimp on fashion. (I’m as obsessed with Jocelyn Bioh’s purple look as I am with Jeremy Strong’s little mustache, albeit in entirely different ways.) Not only were fan-favorite shows including Appropriate, Stereophonic, Suffs, Merrily We Roll Along, and Hell’s Kitchen honored, but there were plenty of celebrity sightings and surprise guests in the mix, too, as well as more than a few memorable musical numbers. Find all the best and biggest moments from the 2024 Tony Awards below.

Alicia Keys Just Brought Down the House—With an Assist From Jay-Z—at the 2024 Tony Awards
It’s always a pleasure to see Jay-Z—largely because it might mean Beyoncé is somewhere in the room—but his appearance at the 2024 Tony Awards was particularly exciting. Sure, he and Alicia Keys have performed “Empire State of Mind” live together before, but hearing the singers unite on the Grammy-winning song at the Tonys felt like a fitting tribute to Hell’s Kitchen, the award show’s New York City setting, and, indeed, to the New York institution that is Broadway.
Ariana DeBose Is Exactly the Host That the Tony Awards Need
I know that we’re post-post-post award show by now, but I’m finding myself unusually excited about the 77th Tony Awards. Maybe it’s because the Tonys represent the rare chance for the Broadway community that fed so many of us gay adults as weird kids (sorry, am I projecting?) to bask in the glow of mainstream media coverage, but I think it also has something to do with Ariana DeBose, who’s returned to host the ceremony for the third year in a row.
What Does a Vitamin C Deficiency Look Like?
Lack of any vitamin or nutrient is never a good thing for our bodies, but a vitamin C deficiency is one that is particularly important to take note of. Vital to our overall health, vitamin C works to support our skin, boost our immune system, support our metabolic systems, and so much more.
Angelina Jolie and Daughter Vivienne Deliver a Matching Fashion Moment at the 2024 Tony Awards
Tonight’s 2024 Tony Awards are a star-studded event. The red carpet has already seen Broadway’s finest—including Alicia Keys, Ariana DeBose, Elle Fanning, and Eddie Redmayne—strike a pose before heading inside for the main ceremony, which will honor the best plays and musicals of the past year.
All the Winners at the 2024 Tony Awards
With the 2024 Tony Awards now behind us, the 2023-2024 Broadway season has officially come to a close. So, how did your favorite productions of the last year fare? Stereophonic was a big winner—taking home five of the record-breaking 13 Tonys it was up for—while Merrily We Roll Along and The Outsiders tied for four wins each; Appropriate won three; and Hell’s Kitchen and Suffs tied for two. Yet the wins were far from the night’s only memorable moments; there were also thrilling performances (Alicia Keys and Jay Z doing “Empire State of Mind”! The fight choreo from The Outsiders! The acrobatics from Water for Elephants!), surprise appearances (Hillary Clinton!), and more than a few gorgeous speeches and tributes (long live Chita Rivera—and Nicole Scherzinger!).
WME Kicked Off Tonys Weekend With an Energetic Party at the Times Square Edition
On any given Saturday night, you can find Times Square packed to the brim with excitement, music, and flashing lights; however, last night, a whole new energy appeared as WME kicked off the Tony Awards weekend with a party over at the Times Square Edition. There was a palpable energy as agents, managers, assistants and Broadway stars gathered for one last hopeful hurrah before the winners are finally anointed tonight.
Tony Awards 2024: Fashion—Live From the Red Carpet
Tonight, the 77th annual Tony Awards will be held at the David H. Koch Theater in New York City. Triple-threat star Ariana DeBose will host the ceremony for the third year in a row, honoring the finest Broadway productions and performances from the past year; the event officially kicks off at 8 p.m. EST, and will be airing live on CBS and Paramount+. Leading the nominations this year, meanwhile, are some of the 2023 season’s buzziest shows, including Hell’s Kitchen, Cabaret, Merrily We Roll Along, and Appropriate. The ceremony will feature cast performances from many of these productions, as well as presenters such as Cynthia Erivo, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Jennifer Hudson (to name just a few).

“Quietly confident” was how Simon Holloway described his mood at a preview the day before his second collection for Dunhill, which unfolded in a Milanese garden on Sunday afternoon. Getting into the groove of his role, which he has now been in for just over a year, the 52-year-old designer has pulled back from the fashion-forward direction taken by his predecessor Mark Weston. Instead, Holloway’s Dunhill is about pursuing what he calls “radical classicism.”
Normani on Confidence, Creativity, and Finally Achieving Lift-Off With Her Debut Album Dopamine
On “Big Boy”—the opening track of her debut album, Dopamine—Normani makes it clear she’s arrived. “Only ever see this type of shit in the movies,” she sings over blaring horns and clattering percussion. “Only ever see this type of shit once in your life.” Taken in combination with the striking album artwork, which sees Normani strapped to a shiny black rocket, it’s a statement of intent: Normani is finally ready for launch.

David Koma is all about his crew. Through his womenswear he’s already built a solid following of enthusiastic subscribers to his graphic brand of powerful evening wear. Now, after 15 years, he’s trying to broaden his base by providing clothes that his male soulmates will want to get into, too. At a preview, he said: “A key challenge for me was to have the depth and variety in the collection really resonate with the wide group of friends that I have across different ages, professions and nationalities, and everything that they do in their life.”
The Father of My Child Has Taught Me More About Good Parenting Than Almost Anyone Else
I am a 39-year-old married woman with a child, and when my toilet wouldn’t stop flushing recently, I immediately called my dad. A lot is written about the role of fathers (I’m up to two novels and counting), and unsurprisingly so. More than almost any other area of our social fabric, the way men interact with their children has changed dramatically in the last 50 years. When I was born, in the 1980s, there was no universal paid paternity leave in the UK (we’d have to wait until 2003 to get the current two weeks’ worth). Men were already doing a bit more childcare than the 18 minutes per day they’d managed in 1961 (according to the University of Essex), but without any recognition that men might want to spend a couple of days at home meeting the child they’d just co-created, things didn’t get off to a great start.
