Kim Kardashian Embraces Italian Widow-Core
Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian are continuing their world tour, trading the Ambani wedding in India for the Andrea Bocelli concert in Italy. The sisters traveled to Tuscany for Bocelli’s 30th anniversary concert at Teatro del Silenzio. For those who don’t have an entire hemisphere of their brain dedicated to niche reality TV drama, Bocelli was, bizarrely, at the center of a spat between Kim and Kourtney on The Kardashians, after the singer performed at both of their weddings. “Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli. You stole my fucking wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocelli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I’m copying her Dolce Vita lifestyle? Okay,” Kim said in a confessional.

“I just think we are in a big artistic zone for everybody,” Jesse Jo Stark, daughter of Chrome Hearts founder Richard Stark, says of the brand’s factory in Hollywood. She’s right: factory, although technically the correct term, feels like a misnomer: inside you’ll find a music rehearsal studio, a kitchen, a living space with couches, and countless amounts of clothing racks within the warehouse which stretches three Los Angeles city blocks. Want to work, relax, or create? There’s a space for you—all done in Chrome Hearts’ signature rock ’n’ roll aesthetic. “Everything is pretty Chromed out,” says Jesse Jo.

Katie Holmes Is Giving Vacation Style a Whole New Meaning
Why go on vacation when you can bring the vacation to you?. Katie Holmes may be in New York City, but that didn’t stop her from daydreaming about the lush Balinese landscape. Holmes took a stroll in the Upper West Side in a Faithfull T-shirt and midi skirt set, printed with various Indonesian flora and fauna.
Liv Perez Wore Elie Saab to Marry Alex Nachum in an Oasis of Wildflowers at Soho Farmhouse
Fashion journalist Liv Perez and real estate developer Alex Nachum met in New York City back in 2016 when he was getting his graduate degree at Columbia University and she was finishing her undergraduate degree at New York University. “Our families knew each other for a long time before, so we were like planets orbiting around each other waiting for the right time to connect,” Liv explains. “We grew up minutes away from each other in L.A., our moms went to the same workout class, and our sisters went to high school together.”
Daisy Edgar-Jones Is the First to Wear the New Boho Heel
Earlier this year, Chemena Kamali invited a handful of bohemianites–among them Sienna Miller, Georgia May Jagger, Pat Cleveland, and Kiernan Shipka–to sit front row at her Chloé debut with their legs anchored in hulking platform wedges. Photographs of that moment travelled long distances online, boosting the label’s perceived street cred almost as much as the Paddington bag did in 2004.

“We thought it would be nice if people wore our clothes and experienced the world in a different way than they had before.” So said Yuji Abe and Yu Kobayashi following Irenisa’s spring show, which unfolded on a humid Thursday evening in a glass-walled studio above Harajuku station. This time the duo took inspiration from Lucio Fontana, the founder of Spatialism who slashed holes in his canvases, breaking his artworks away from their confinement within the frame. In its own way, Irenisa does the same kind of thing with clothes, and Abe and Kobayashi have mastered their medium enough to make their own deep cuts in ways that feel quietly unusual. To wit: trousers came with double waistbands, collar plackets were intentionally wonky, and pinprick holes arrowed across the chests of sporty nylon blousons, which were pleated at the back so that they rippled across the shoulder blades like drapes.
Hailey Bieber’s Mesh Heels Are Fashion’s Answer to Pregnancy Footwear
A token Google of the phrase “best shoes when pregnant” will advertise the following pieces: Birkenstock’s soft footbed sandals, Crocs and something called Kizik sneakers, which are not pleasant to look at, but are described on the company’s website as “the world’s best hands-free, slip-on shoes.” I’d imagine these items would help alleviate the various ailments—joint pressure, swollen ankles, a flattening of the foot’s arches—that stretch well into most people’s pregnancies.
7 Signs You’re Not Drinking Enough Water
You may think you’re drinking enough water, but if you spent most of the day with a cup of coffee by your side, you’re probably more dehydrated than you think. After all, the numbers don’t lie: the human body is about 70% water, and we lose up to two and a half liters of it per day doing just normal activities. Even breathing causes a lot of fluid loss—we exhale around half a liter over the course of the day.
What Can We Expect From the Opening Ceremony Next Week? Artistic Director Thomas Jolly Gives Us a Few Hints
At the end of next week, approximately 300,000 spectators will gather to watch the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games on the banks of the Seine—while another 1.5 billion people tune in from home—a spectacle art-directed by Thomas Jolly. A few months ago, Vogue interviewed Jolly, an actor and theater director known in France for his spirited adaptations of Shakespeare, to discuss the nearly two years of his life devoted to this year’s Games.

Is NO/FAITH STUDIOS the Future of Fashion?
But let’s back up for a minute, and explain how I came to be here. This is going to sound horribly namedrop-y—ugh, sorry—but at the Chloé show this past February I was sitting beside the photographer Inez Van Lamsweerde, with whom I chatted about new labels. When she mentioned that her son, Charles Matadin, was obsessed with NO/FAITH STUDIOS, it elicited a look of blank incomprehension from me. A quick Google search later, though, made clear the appeal: The label, which really took off with a skater-ish flared pair of jeans, had a youthful, confident way with washed and weathered denim and leather, coolly and cleverly manipulated into jeans and outerwear augmented by an intriguing sense of volume and tricked up with a sophisticated sense of utilitarian detailing. All those buckles and straps and grommets and non-apologetic washing and dying: The look was strong—and so was the point of view. The fashion spidey senses were tingling.
