It's about that time again, which is crazy because it feels like just yesterday I was writing the spring camp previews. Back then, football preparation was taking a backseat to the pending basketball coaching search. This time around, fall camp will be in the spotlight of the WVU sports world. Today we continue the position-by-position preview for preseason camp. The Mountaineers went 9-4 last season, including beating up on UNC in a bowl game that ended with Neal Brown being covered in mayonnaise. West Virginia football enters the 2024 season with significant wind in its sails, so fall camp should be particularly interesting to watch next month. WVU’s golf program will be well represented at this year’s U.S. Amateur Golf Championship. West Virginia native Todd Duncan became the third Mountaineer golfer to qualify for the sport’s top amateur event. Duncan shot -5 (65) in the first and only round of the Southeastern Amateur qualifying tournament at Country Club of Columbus golf course in Columbus, Georgia.
