No. 13 Baylor bounces back in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — The No. 13 Bears completed the season sweep over the newest opponents in the Big 12 with an 83-60 win against Houston.

The first half saw Baylor jump out to an early seven-point lead but Houston rally back to take the lead twice in the second quarter. A Dre’Una Edwards layup with 5:28 remaining in the half gave the Bears the lead right back which they kept for the remainder of the game.

Baylor returned to its calling card of spreading the wealth on offense with six Bears in double figures. Edwards led the way with a team-high 15 points and eight rebounds.

Baylor now hits the road to Provo for their second-ever meeting with BYU before a ranked matchup with West Virginia on Saturday, February 10th.
