ARLINGTON, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — Baylor jumped out to an early lead but couldn’t withstand a late Oregon charge as the Ducks came back to take the win in day two of the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, 7-4.

The Bears jumped out to a 4-0 lead with the first home run of the season coming from Mason Greer and Gonzaga transfer Enzo Apodaca recording his first hit as a Baylor Bear on a RBI-triple.

The Bears ran into trouble after the fourth inning, similar to what happened in the sixth inning of Friday’s game against Nebraska. A late Oregon charge tied the ballgame at four until Ryan Cooney’s RBI-single pulled the Ducks ahead in the bottom of the sixth before Oregon extended their lead to three.

Baylor falls to 0-2 to start the season and has one more chance to get a win in Arlington when they take on No. 9 Tennessee on Sunday, February 18th at 6:30 p.m.
