WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — The Baylor Bears continued their winning ways with another crucial Big 12 win, taking down No. 7 Kansas at home, 82-74.

The Bears began the game with possibly the highlight of the year as Yves Missi rose up over KJ Adams Jr. for a dunk fans had to see to believe.

The Bears traded buckets with the Jayhawks from that point, as expected, taking a 1-point lead heading into the half.

Jayden Nunn gave Baylor the spark they needed from that point on. The VCU transfer continued his major scoring role for the Bears adding 10 quick points to help Baylor to as much as a 12-point lead in the second half.

That lead proved to be too much to overcome for the Jayhawks who couldn’t find an answer to RayJ Dennis’ scoring or distributing. Dennis finished with his first double-double since the triple overtime loss to TCU with 19 points and 10 assists.

Baylor has a short turnaround to get ready to welcome Texas as a Big 12 opponent for the final time before the Longhorns departure to the SEC. The two face off on ‘Big Monday’ on March 4th at 8:00 p.m.
