No. 25 Baylor Men’s Tennis back in the win column with a victory over VCU

WACO, TX ( FOX 44 ) — The 25th-ranked Baylor Men’s Tennis team stayed perfect at the Hurd Tennis Center in 2024 as the Bears took down VCU on Wednesday night.

It was a strong start to the match once again for Michael Woodson’s team, as the Bears picked up the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead over the Rams right from the jump.

From there, Baylor went up 3-1 with a pair of wins from Devin Badenhorst and Ethan Muza, before VCU quickly cut the lead to 3-2.

In the end though, the Bears had enough to close out the match, as Marko Milandinovic came from behind to pick up a win on court six to seal the victory.

With the win, Baylor improves to 13-3 on the season and will now face a quick turnaround as the Bears will take on Omaha on Friday, March 8th at 3:00 pm.
