WACO, TX ( FOX 44 ) — The Baylor Baseball team got back into the win column in emphatic fashion on Tuesday night, as the Bears rolled Stephen F. Austin.

Mitch Thompson’s team dug an early hole in the game, with the Lumberjacks taking an early 4-0 in the top of the second inning, but the Bears immediately responded with a six-run bottom of the frame to take the lead for good.

The star of the show for Baylor was Harrison Caley, as he had a career night, hitting two home runs and driving in seven runs, becoming the first Bear since 2019 to do so.

Next up for the Bears is a return to Big 12 play, where they will host Texas Tech in a weekend series, which will start on Friday, March 15th at 6:30 pm.
