WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — Despite the Huskies jumping to an early lead, Baylor baseball rallied to take their third-straight win with a 13-5 victory over Houston Christian on Tuesday night.

Houston Christian gave the Bears a run for their money, holding a 4-3 lead into the seventh inning.

The Baylor bats came alive in the bottom half, with a bases-clearing 3-RBI triple from Daniel Altman gave Baylor its first lead of the game to which they never looked back.

Baylor added 11 hits with seven different Bears driving in runs. Ethan Calder earned his third win of the season to improve to 3-1 with two innings pitched in relief, giving up no hits and no runs.

The Bears move on to a three-game set with Incarnate Word starting on Friday, April 5th at 6:30 p.m.
