Jalen Bridges declares for NBA Draft

WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — Baylor standout forward Jalen Bridges announced via social media Monday that he will not take his ‘COVID year’ and instead declare for the 2024 NBA Draft.

Bridges, a West Virginia transfer, played two years in the Green and Gold. He quickly became a steady hand to score when Baylor needed it most, averaging 10.3 points per game but bursting onto the scene during Big 12 Conference play in 2024.

Bridges averaged a career-high 12.2 points per game on 46.6 percent shooting in his senior season to propel the Bears to a semifinal berth in the Big 12 Tournament and back-to-back Round of 32 appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

Bridges projects in most mock drafts as a second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
