WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — Dave Aranda and Baylor football anticipated players leaving post spring practice due to the amount of depth on the Bears’ roster and the first dominoes fell on Monday.

Wide Receiver and running back Jordan Nabors became the first Bear to hit the portal after two years in the green and gold, announcing his decision to transfer on social media.

Nabors only had eight receptions for 77 yards and rushed 18 times for 96 yards and two scores in a Baylor uniform.

Two more wide receivers announced their intent to transfer shortly after Nabors’ announcement. Javon Gipson and Armani Winfield entered their names into the transfer portal on Monday. Gipson and Winfield totaled 10 receptions for 122 yards combined after both entering the program in 2022.
