OKLAHOMA CITY, OK ( FOX 44 ) — The Bears are heading back to Waco after an exit in the Big 12 tournament semifinal at the hands of the Texas Longhorns, 14-3.

The Longhorns pounced on Baylor early, starting the game with a RBI-single, three-run homer and a 2-RBI triple. The second inning didn’t go much better, with Texas adding six more runs to take a commanding 12-0 lead after two innings.

The Bears found some offense in the fifth inning with Shannon Vivoda drilling a two-run homer to pull Baylor within 11.

Baylor now awaits their fate on the Selection Sunday to see where they’ll play in the NCAA Tournament.
